USPH standard fittings for ships

On cruise and passenger ships, hygiene is of paramount importance – especially in kitchens and food services, where thousands of people are served every day. The USPH (United States Public Health) standard sets strict requirements for kitchen equipment and appliances on board ships, as well as for food service outlets in restaurants and bars.

jt-manufacturingoy has supplied USPH compliant fittings for more than 150 vessels. Thanks to our experienced installation team, we can guarantee that all our furniture meets USPHS requirements and passes inspections. Every detail is carefully designed and field tested to ensure that the furniture can withstand the most demanding conditions.

We have been building up this unique expertise since the 1980s, when we delivered our first USPH furniture to a cruise ship.

Stainless steel shelves and adjustment rails ensure long life and easy cleaning. The height of the shelves is infinitely adjustable, allowing flexible adaptation to different storage needs.

Adjustment feet at the ends of the adjustment slats make it easy to install the shelf directly, even on uneven floors. The shelving can be fitted with either flat or perforated shelves, and plastic grating shelves are also an option. The number of shelf levels can be freely selected according to customer requirements.

For lighter needs, we offer modular shelving systems with aluminium and plastic frames that are not only lightweight, but also easy to install and adapt to different spaces.
Tonon shelving systems allow you to make the most of your storage space. The modular design offers flexibility for different storage sizes, and the shelves can withstand loads of up to 250 kg per level. This allows you to store everything you need in an organised and easily accessible way. The mobile shelving system in particular saves space in particularly cramped rooms. The movable system’s floor rail or top rail wheel feature always brings space to the shelf spacing you need. This allows you to increase shelf space by up to 80-90%. Tonon modular shelving systems are designed to optimise the use of storage space. These systems are ideal for cold storage and freezer rooms as they can withstand temperatures from -30°C to +90°C and are easy to clean.
